How Can I be More Spiritual?
The are many things to consider if one wishes to become more spiritual. The first question to yourself would have to be “Why do I want to become more spiritual?” This may seem like a dumb question, but the motivation for wanting more spirituality is often driven by a lack of understanding of who and what you are.
When one decides to become more spiritual, one is actually looking to see truth within them. They want to see the happiness that exists in all humans. Sometimes this desire is driven by a need to make change for the better. A positive shift/change is seen as becoming more spiritual and freeing from negatives.
This really could not be more from the truth. You see, you cannot be any more spiritual than you already are. At your very core you are God. Have always been, and always will be. There is nothing more spiritual. You really cannot be any more spiritual than that.
The key point is however, if you want to be more spiritual, you simply need to recognise what you already are. You do not need to work or strive to become what you are. When we strive to become more spiritual, we are actually giving more weight to “non-truth” (believing you are not already perfect or a complete spiritual being). We believe the lie that has been put forward by our moulded beliefs and/or conditionings that we are incomplete, not good enough, less value etc.
If we simply “allowed” ourselves and not “struggle” to become aware of who and what we actually are, we would soon see our spiritual perfection. By breaking down our deluded perceptions by aligning to what is truth, we naturally start to experience a greater level of our own spiritual self and essence.
