Affirmations – Why I don’t do them.

Affirmations – Why I don’t do them

While many people see great results from doing affirmations, myself included, I can no longer do them.

I came to a point in understanding one day whilst conducting a workshop that affirmations support the generation of “non-truth”. They actually hold the person doing them into a non-truthful state of lack.

What do I mean by non-truth?

I believe all experiences unfold from divine plan. Divine plan has been created from God and cannot have any mistakes within it. Why? Because God cannot make mistakes. God is perfect in all ways.

There are two ways to experience God’s unfolding plan. The first and best way is to naturally allow it to unfold unhindered by my perceptional conditioning. When I do this, every experience naturally becomes joyful, positive, and abundant.

Why?

Because Divine plan is untarnished and experienced in its pure energy of God’s love. It cannot be anything but positive. When divine plan unfolds and experienced directly, Real Truth outplays.

When I involve my non-truthful conditioning by allowing my mind to add its little bits, the natural unfolding plan is contaminated with fear based energy. This then increases the likelihood of negative experience. I allow my emotional baggage to colour my experience of the unfolding plan. When this happens, I see “non – truth” appearing as truth.

Because of this I see imperfection and lack, and then do my best to change or fix it. I see an illusionary flaw in the plan. I do mean illusionary as what appears real is actually not.

Getting back to affirmations. Most people do affirmations for one of two reasons. To bring into their lives better circumstances or bring people or money etc.

Both reasons infer a lack of something in their lives. All lack stems out of the perceptions held by the mind.

Divine unfoldment is always complete, without any form of lack

However just because lack is perceived, does not mean that this is truth.

All negative experience including the feeling of lack comes from the belief in non-truth or attachment. All this experience is not actually the truth. As mentioned earlier Divine plan (Truth) is always positive and loving as it is the energy of God. So any negative you may experience comes from the belief in non-truth and worldly fear-based structures. This is where all negatives come from.

You being a powerful little fragment of God are able to manifest into reality something that doesn’t even exist up to that point. You make fear-based energy real in your life, simply by giving it your attention or believing in such things. When you create it, you validate it is real. These non-truthful perceptions create lack.

When we do affirmations, we are making the statement on a deep subconscious perceptional level that “God’s plan is flawed” we do affirmations to improve our lot in life. We believe something is wrong, or not right. Things could be better.

If we just allowed our part of Divine plan to unfold without our imposed fear-based stuff, we would see there is perfection in all areas of our lives. This would allow us to see that there is nothing that needs fixing as Divine plan is actually not broken.

It is only our deluded perceptions that make things appear broken or incomplete.

When we do affirmations, we believe the lie the mind is telling us. We also say God makes mistakes. If you truly believe God’s plan is unfolding in perfection then there is no need to change or fix anything with affirmations. By continuing to do affirmations, you are only giving more energy to “Non-Truth” which will only cloud higher truth even more.

This will only lead to more burden in your life. Yes you may manifest through affirmation what you desire, but you also strengthen your belief in non-perfection and lack. This will hold you on the non-truthful fear-based mouse wheel of life’s illusionary structures.

Remember, the more you can align yourself to real truth. The better and happier your life will be.

Why?

Because everything you seek is already a part of your divine makeup. Eveything you desire is already you, it is just clouded with your beliefs of what is real. This stops you from actually seeing your wholeness.

On a level, there is nothing to attain. You are complete. Everything you seek is within.

As soon as you perceive lack , or look externally for completeness, you miss the point of who and what you are.

It does not make sense to continue to give energy to and to make stronger the energies that bring to your life everything you don’t desire i.e. burden and disharmony.

If I truly believe that divine plan is perfect in every way, then all I have to do is allow its perfect unfoldment to occur unhindered, and truly enjoy my life the way God intended.

It is okay to put plans in action, but trust, without expectancy of outcome, that divine perfection is unfolding regardless of your perception of it.
