Allowance, just like expression, creates movement of internal energy. Moving energy is light energy. When we are in allowance, we are in harmonic alignment with the natural flow of the universe.
When you are aligned with the universe, and in harmony with it, you are living in a conscious state. Living consciously is living an authentic life, which honours your soul’s incarnation. This is the most loving thing you can do for yourself.
To me, the most important way to bring happiness and health to your life is to always do your best to be in a state of allowance. Know that all which comes to you is exactly what your soul wishes to experience. All experience is having a positive impact on expanding your soul’s consciousness. There is no wrong experience for your soul.
To have acceptance and to be in allowance for what turns up frees you from the pain and negativity caused by judgment, resistance and stagnation. Remember, what has turned up in your life you created from your internal energy. So, in fact, it is never wrong; you are getting what you asked for via this law of attraction process.
There is never a need for judgment of anyone or any experience. This action only causes resistance within your internal flow and instantly removes you from a state of allowance. This will always increase the likelihood of negative lack and burden turning up in your life.
An important thing to remember:
When you are not in allowance, you are in resistance. All resistance causes inflammation. Inflammation will eventually kill you. Yes, restricting your natural energy flow will have such a detrimental effect on your life.
To be as the universe and God functions – in full unhindered, nonjudgmental allowance – invokes freedom and relaxation to come into your life. This is the ultimate aim of any human that is serious about health, contentment and living in a state of consciousness.
So the big question to ask yourself regularly is: “Am I in resistance here or am I allowing?”. Or put another way: “Am I being self-loving or am I dishonouring myself?”
When I don’t allow experience to move in and through me I am basically saying my life is wrong and I need to fix it. This is yet another lie the mind puts forward to hold you in what I call “The Structure of Lack”.
I suggest you make a big list of all areas of your life that you are resisting. Be brutally honest with yourself. Below are some common questions to give you a little insight.
• What am I not saying?
• Am I holding on to any thoughts or feelings because I feel someone has done something wrong to me?
• Do I have any tension in any of my muscles? What do I not want to let go of in my muscles?
• Am I breathing shallow? Why don’t I want to nourish myself?
• Am I holding on to any grudges or toxic feelings toward another?
• Am I holding on to people or experiences – do I have attachments?
Did you know attaching to people is a very unloving thing to do to them and yourself? You hinder natural energetic flow between the two of you and will eventually bring resentment and/or darkness in another form. Attaching to people happens because we don’t feel whole and we are seeking this wholeness externally from others. Always remember that wholeness is internal, not external, just like love. As soon as you seek it externally, you empower the lie that you are not already whole and of love. This brings more darkness to your life. This often occurs because of a non-truthful belief that you lack self-value and love.
• Am I allowing myself to feel, experience and create in a conscious, loving way?
• Am I avoiding areas of my life?
• Am I avoiding people and experiences?
• Am I avoiding places or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable or vulnerable?
These are just some of the questions you should ask yourself. It will help you to gain a little more clarity into your areas of resistance.
Important to remember: If you feel negative emotionally, you believe something that is not true. Negativity always comes from your past non-truthful conditioning. It is a lie your mind believes to be true but in fact is not. When we feel negative, we often automatically go into resistance and judgement and blame others for what we perceive as wrong.
The Golden Rule is: If it feels negative, it is a lie your past conditioning wants you to believe.
It is universally impossible to feel negative in truth; it simply can’t happen. All truth is positive. So when you recognise you are experiencing negative emotion, simply ask yourself, “What is the truth here?”
Just because your mind believes this negative to be true doesn’t mean you have to react and resist it. Know that by doing so you empower the very thing that brought you this experience in the first place.
Important to remember: Your mind continually lies to you simply because it is conditioned with non-truthful perceptions and ideologies. It doesn’t know any better.
Underneath all lies lays truth and if you just allow yourself to feel this negative emotion without judging it, it will pass. The beautiful thing about non-truthful emotions is they need constant nourishment from resistance and judgment to exist. If you observe the feeling/emotion without making judgement, you cease to nourish it, and it will eventually disempower and cease to exist in your world. Yes, your get-out of-jail-free card to emotional freedom is allowance.
Another beautiful and simple way to disempower your dark non-truth when it raises its ugly head is to recognise the truth of it in the moment. When you feel negative, acknowledge the truth of why you feel this way.
Acknowledging truth will bring light to the equation. Here is how to do this simple technique that, if practiced consistently and repeatedly, will dramatically change your life.
When you become aware of negative emotion simply state to yourself the following statement. “Right now I am aware I feel negative in my emotion. The only way I
can feel this way is because on some level I am validating, believing in or giving energy to a non-truth.”
This statement carries the energy of truth, which is always light. The truth is I am now in non-truth. Simply stating the truth of this disempowers my non-truthful emotion and deprives it of energetic nourishment.
And even more important, this truthful statement will alter your internal energy into a brighter, more loving energy. As a result, the Law of Attraction will now bring you new experiences based on this shift in your internal energy into more light/love. This statement can literally change your life.
As mentioned previous, make a list of the areas of your life that you know you are resisting. Look at what drives you to resist. What non-truth do you believe?
When you become aware of these things, do your best to sit with what you feel in a non-judgemental way. Just observe and be with it as opposed to wanting to push it away.
Often being in allowance initially will make you feel uneasy or vulnerable. That’s okay; whatever you feel just observe it. As mentioned earlier, all negative feelings and emotions will dissolve if you do not feed them energy. When you are in allowance with these emotions, you cease to nourish them. You will be very surprised how quickly they can dissipate as a result.
Another easy way to develop your ability is to practice “Single Minded Meditation”. This practice develops a quicker recognition speed so you can pick up earlier when your emotions shift into a negative space. It also improves your quality of focus. And the most important thing is it develops detached allowance.
