Have you ever thought you dealt with something only to later find it came back more powerful than before?
Do you continually have repeating negative experiences?
Do you ever suffer bouts of fustration or anxiety?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are most likely avoiding something in your life, (negative non-truthful emotional imprinting) As a result, clogging up more and more your internal energy flow, burdening your life further. Avoidance only brings stagnation, which can only lead to future suffering.
If undealt with, this stagnation will come back to bite you at some stage in the future, regardless of how good you are at distracting yourself. Unresolved issues don’t just magically dissappear just because you ignore them.
You cannot run away from yourself, even if you move to the Moon, your internal energy is always with you. As mention at the start of this article, avoidance can manifest as recurring experiences. Due to the Law of Attraction, you will always have experiences that trigger the emotional imprinting you have within. These things will conti ual to turn up in your life until they are removed.
It does not matter how good you are at burying them deep inside or how good you are at believing they do not impact on you. The simple fact is if you do not dissolve and release your negative imprinting it has to impact on your life’s experiences, this is Universal Law. Distraction does not fix anything.
Many avoiders make their lives busy to distract what they do not want to see. This is sometimes easier to do then face reality. Many become active participants in society to distract what they do not want to see. They become very productive and caring, doing good things out there in the world, but all along avoiding their own percieved emotional inadequacies.
I have seen many healers and carers that are classic avoiders. We often take on roles in society that fit what we avoid. Psychologist often have lots of emotional issues. Carers often are lacking care or love. Workaholics often busy themselves so they are not still enough to see what they are running away from.
Many are totally unaware they are actually doing this. Right now you maybe thinking I am being very judgemental. Let me say that this is not meant as a judgement or a blame thing, it is just observation of what I see happening out there in the world.
What are you avoiding right now?
There is a lot of benefit in having a bit of a internal scan of yourself. Becoming aware of your energetic state can help you to recognise what energies are in resistance to what you seek – ease, allowance, and happiness.
Are you holding onto any emotions, resentments, judgements? Are you believing things about who and what you are that are not based in truth? Are these things a truthful assessment of your inner state? Do you feel not good enough, or do you have “why me” thoughts?
What are you wanting to escape from, and what emotions are you holding on to as a result?
When you become aware of your negative emotional imprinting do your best to allow it to be there.
Yes that right, allow it to be there.
Because the act of allowance actually helps to change its energetic quality into positive energy. When we avoid things, we are resisting them. This only serves to intensify what you are resisting. This makes stronger and holds them deeper into our internal energies.
This practice alone will dramactically change your life for the better.
